In the start
It was all right
we understood
each other's might
we looked at life
with respect
and at you
with deep prospect
you weren't perfect
as we were all
but you were the one
who watched us fall
Those godless days
of destiny
we did succumb
to temptivity
we ate the apple
of the snake
ran from the garden
at winter's wake
opened the box
us monkey's three
saw, heard, and said
with evil glee
we stole from Greed
and lounged with Sloth
we spat with Wrath
heed the warning of Thoth
And as of Envy
to her we Lied
Gluttony save us
with help from Pride
Lust is one
we did not see
just the last monkey
laughing in the tree
Until we saw
the tiger crouch
and from theron
we did not slouch
he pounced upon
the whitest dove
for whom he had
no truth in love
in Dark Ages
we had no light
not a guide
to lead us right
Until you came,
Dear Lucifer
And took us back
to garden same
but now the bushes
were alight with flame
Where did you bring us
to him we cried
My new world
he doth replied
What land is this
where fire's aglow
where all is smite
in hate and low
Where is our father?
the one above
to him we still
harbored some love
Oh he
said Lucifer
his eyes dark
I left him one day
and with him
my mark
I had so much power
he wouldn't let me go
So leave I did
red blood on snow
We would never forget
that wrathful day
when we entered Hell
in fallen angel's way
